A Lion is an animal that is found in the jungle. It has four legs, and each foot contains claws. Their mouths are extremely big giving them the ability to eat their prey easily. Their ears are on top of their heads, but they are sort of hidden behind their golden mane. Their eyes are kind of large.
A lionness is the female of a lion, her hair is very short but still golden. Her facial features such as her eyes and mouth are more tiny than the males.

Your interpretation of a lion is very broad yet specific, "...it has four legs and large eyes." The thing that would let me know your were talking about a lion is the golden mane...
